I Have Kookamungaphobia. Here are the Stats!

In my previous post (as of only a couple hours ago), I mentioned the Kookamonga burger, with 4 Ibs of meat. It doesn't end there.

I have kookamungaphobia, and after reading this I feel you will too.

How many calories are in the Kookamonga? Well, let's add it up:

Ground Chuck- 8,960 calories/176g fat

Bread- 2,464 calories/35.6g fat

American Cheese- 848 calores/55.2g fat

Tomato, onion, pickles, lettuce- 85 calories/0g fat

TOTAL CALORIES: 12,387       TOTAL FAT: 266.8g

I Met the Famous Sasquatch Burger... and it Defeated Me.

After watching Man Vs. Food, and learning that we would be in Memphis this weekend,
we couldn't help but go and see it for ourselves!
This burger, previously known as the Sasquatch burger, contains 4 Ibs of meat!
If one person eats it within an hour, the burger ($21.99) is free along with a t-shirt, and a hall of frame photo on the wall. Only a couple of people have ever conquered the Kookamunga burger.
The record time is 7 minutes and 47 seconds!
We split this burger into 4 parts.
We found that the patty was 2 inches thick!
Neither of us 4 could even finish our quarter.
Go figure!
So if you ever get the chance, go see it for yourself,
because the photo does NOT do it justice.

A Hopeless Scare

Ok, rumor has it HOPE is running out of money! So if you lose it, there's no getting it back, and if you don't have it, there's no getting it!

This really motivated me with school since I would rather NOT pay an extra $1700 per semester.
Hope it finds a place in your heart as well.

Cheeseburger In Paradise.

As much as I hate this Jimmy Buffet song, I was able to experience a cheeseburger in true paradise- Cozumel, Mexico. It was beautiful! However, I found that Cayman dollars and U.S. dollars can amount to $20 difference! For 3 people to eat cheeseburgers at Margaritaville, $51 in Cayman dollars... but $71, yes $71 in U.S. dollars. RIDICULOUS, but it was a good one time thing. We went to a private beach in Cozumel, which was absolutely beautiful. A guy there had his pets- a toucan, parrot, a few pythons, and scorpions- and allowed you to take picture with them for a $5 donation. The toucan and parrot were all I was brave enough for. Gosh, they were BEAUTIFUL birds! The parrot spoke Spanish, which I found VERY intriguing. Thank you Mrs. Rhodes, I used what I learned from your class, and talked to a parrot!!! We also had all day snorkeling which is always fun. Unfortunately, I was not able to swim with the dolphins on this trip like I had hoped. It was simply wayy to expensive. However, I did enjoy a nice massage and facial, and bought some $10 nail polish from Del Sol that I had been wanting since August. It's so cool... my nails change colors when exposed to the UV rays of the sun, but inside, you can hardly tell I even have nail polish on. I have included a couple of photos here to give you a glimpse of my trip, but the whole album will be added to myspace and facebook in the next couple of days if you're interested.

^^ caught in the act- this crow was stealing my nachos...
and at one point stuck his face in my empty cup.

Famous last words- Finally, I have a tan. No one from high school would ever believe me. Haha.

My Sociology Book is Good For Something

What do you get when you mix an insomniac, dyslexic, and agnostic???

Someone who sits up all night wondering whether or not there's a dog!
